Marine Drive Chiropractic

With Monday to Friday office hours, extended hours, and online booking, we are pleased to make it easy to access care, often same day. We accept referrals, welcome new patients, and welcome back patients we have not seen in awhile.

How We Work with New & Returning Patients

We are happy to offer convenient online booking for your next appointment to quickly treat your urgent, recurrent, or preventive care needs.

But, the first step in receiving the highest quality of care at Marine Drive Chiropractic is to call our friendly staff at (604) 985-0461 to book a 30-minute initial appointment.

New Patients (new or away for more than 3 years) – call to request a ‘Chiropractic Initial Visit’

Returning Patients (away for 1 to 3 years) – call to request a ‘returning patient reassessment’

New Patients with an ICBC Claim – call to request a ‘new patient ICBC assessment’

Your health is a commitment we take seriously.

As such, we follow the guidelines of care outlined by our regulatory bodies to meet and exceed the highest standards of assessment for initial or returning appointments after being away for over a year.

Every assessment or re-assessment builds your confidence in your treatment plan by including:

  • A complete health history including changes in health, medications.
  • Identifying past or recent injuries directly related to your concern and not.
  • Age-related concerns (eg. Growing youth, osteoporosis or bone density in patients over 50).
  • Careful head-to-toe neurological, orthopedic, and chiropractic assessment to make a quick and accurate diagnosis, while also ruling out other conditions to put your mind at ease.
  • Manual/ hands-on adjustments and/or instrument assisted treatments.

While it is often desirable to fast-track your care and you may be keen to self-diagnose and ask us for a “quick adjustment”, our priority is to provide efficient care but with the ultimate due diligence to regulatory requirements. This ensures your treatments are precisely what you need. For these reasons, an initial assessment, or reassessment if it’s been awhile, is required for all new or returning patients.
